
Cutting is where a garment either starts right or starts wrong. A panel cut even a few millimetres off throws out the fit, wastes printed fabric, and creates problems that cannot be corrected later in production. In high-volume custom sportswear manufacturing, precision at the cutting stage is not optional. At Bromely Sports, cutting is handled through three methods depending on the garment type, fabric, and design complexity. Automated knife cutting handles high-volume panel work with speed and consistency across large runs. Laser cutting is used for detailed edge work, perforations, and designs where clean, sealed edges matter, particularly on performance fabrics that can fray with manual cutting. Perforator cutting is used for specific ventilation patterns and technical fabric constructions that require precise, repeatable hole placement. All three methods operate inside our Sialkot facility, which means we control the cut quality directly rather than handing fabric off to an external department or third party. When the printing comes out of our Roland XT640 and the panels go straight into our cutting room, the design alignment stays accurate from the printed sheet to the cut panel. Fabric waste is tracked at this stage as part of our production efficiency process. Tighter cutting means less wasted printed material per order, which keeps production costs controlled on bulk runs without affecting the quality of the finished garment. Every cut panel is checked for accuracy before it moves to stitching.
