Heat & Pressing

Sublimation printing produces the colour. Heat pressing is what transfers it permanently into the fabric. These two processes work together, and if the heat pressing stage is handled incorrectly, even a perfectly printed design will come out with uneven colour saturation, ghosting, or areas where the dye has not fully bonded to the fibre. The quality of the press matters as much as the quality of the print. At Bromely Sports, heat pressing is carried out using the Monti 2024, an Italian industrial heat press built specifically for high-volume sportswear production. Temperature, pressure, and dwell time are all calibrated precisely for each fabric type before a production run begins. Polyester, spandex blends, dri-fit, and technical mesh all require different settings to achieve consistent, accurate colour transfer across every panel. Heat transfer printing is also handled through this department for applications where designs, logos, or branding elements need to be applied to finished garments rather than printed panels. This is particularly common for badges, sponsor logos, player names, and decorative detailing that needs a clean raised finish rather than a flat sublimated look. All heat pressing and heat transfer work is completed inside our Sialkot facility as part of the same integrated production process. Panels are checked for colour accuracy and finish quality immediately after pressing before they move forward into the stitching department. Any panel that does not meet the approved standard is flagged and reprinted rather than passed through.
