
Not every fabric can be cut the same way. Performance polyester, spandex blends, bonded materials, and technical mesh all behave differently under a blade. Manual cutting leaves edges that can fray, stretch out of shape, or lose their accuracy across a long production run. For certain fabrics and design requirements, laser cutting is the only method that delivers the level of precision the garment actually needs. At Bromely Sports, laser cutting is carried out using a Galvo laser cutter inside our Sialkot production facility. The laser cuts through fabric with a focused beam of light rather than a physical blade, which means the cut edge is sealed at the same time it is cut. On synthetic performance fabrics, this is particularly important because a sealed edge does not fray, does not curl, and does not degrade with washing the way a raw blade-cut edge can. Laser cutting is used across several areas of our production. Perforated ventilation panels on compression wear and rash guards require exact hole placement that repeats consistently across every panel. Decorative edge detailing on fight wear and activewear demands the kind of clean finish that manual methods cannot reliably produce at volume. Complex geometric cutouts and technical design features are also handled through this process. Because laser cutting happens inside the same facility as printing and stitching, cut panels move directly into the next stage of production without delays. Quality is checked at the point of cutting before any panel moves forward.
